Sr. Mary Ann Flannery is a leading Cleveland-area educator who served most recently as associate professor in the communications department of John Carroll University , the Jesuit university in Cleveland.  She is a very experienced spiritual director who is well-versed in the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. 

 

Former Jesuit Retreat House board president Dan Cotter expressed enthusiasm at the hiring of Flannery, saying she �is the right person to direct our vision and mission.� 

 

Upon assuming her her role as director, Flannery made her leadership vision clear: �We have embarked on a journey of a new commitment to the People of God who seek direction in their lives�through the Ignatian charism and its grace in their careers, parishes, and families�I am happy to welcome those who want to share their gifts, through Ignatian spirituality, with the many they serve on their journey of faith.�
