Carrying
the Burden, Finding the Joy - Lent is a time to look at how we are
addressing the burdens unique to women in faith, family, friendship.
When we infuse the gift of prayer and reflection into our Lenten
experience, we will find a Jesus Who will draw us to the Resurrection of
faith and happiness in our lives. No matter what you are struggling with,
come to find peace. This is a
preached retreat with ample time for prayer, reflection and guided
direction. We will have Mass
and the Sacrament of Reconciliation as well.
Saturday meals are in silence. The retreat begins Friday evening with supper at 6:00pm and ends Sunday morning with liturgy

Day/Evening Retreats: Knowing &
Following Jesus - March 18
~presented by Sr. Maureen McCarthy,
OSU
Jesus
asks specific questions of his followers. When he asks, "Who do you
say that I am?" we need to answer that question as well. Lent
is an ideal time to assess our relationship with God.
Once
we recognize Jesus as loving, compassionate and forgiving, our own
practices of loving, compassion and forgiveness may need to be examined with honesty
and an open heart. The
day retreat (9am-2:30pm)
costs
$25, including lunch, and the evening retreat (7-9pm)
costs
$15. Sr. McCarthy will present the topic above at both retreats.
REGISTER HERE.
