Our predecessors have left us a beautiful legacy. Jesuit Retreat House includes a lovely 58 year-old house and 57 wooded acres. We face an ongoing challenge to maintain this legacy and to update it to meet the changing needs and expectations of our retreatants. We appreciate your support of this effort.

Some essential building and grounds needs for which we seek generous support include the following:

  • Purchase of wood-chipper for recycling of dead wood

  • Purchase of new lawn mower

  • Continued care of the old-growth forest on JRH property

The Place of Peace Fund provides ongoing opportunities for donors to have their name placed on a particular project or to honor the memory of a family member or friend.   Naming rights can be arranged by contacting the Jesuit Retreat House director.

Following are examples of what generous donors have done for our place of peace:

Memorial Trees & Shrubs

Our beautiful property has an ongoing need for new trees and shrubs. Many donors have made a gift to plant a tree in the honor of a loved one.

Stations of the Cross

Generous donors made it possible for us to construct a line of beautiful Stations along
a prayer pathway

Outdoor Benches
(coming soon!) Support from generous individuals will fund the upcoming construction of several nice outdoor benches that will provide prayerful rest-stops for our retreatants.
