The Prophecy & Poetry of Isaiah - December 15
Evening reflection led by Carl Bonk, S.J. reflecting on the lyrical writings of one awaiting the Lord

Advent is a time for a daily reading of the beautiful words of the prophet Isaiah.  In many ways he is the servant God chose to introduce the hope of the coming of a peacemaking Messiah, rather than the political and military figure many of the Israelites were expecting. Isaiah was awaiting a very different Lord, the Prince of Peace, and we are as well during Advent. You are invited to enter the joyful, hopeful season of Advent through the poetic prophecy of Isaiah. The evening retreat takes place from 6:30 - 9 p.m. and includes time for refreshments, presentations, and personal prayer.  Cost is $15/person.  Space is limited, so please register here by December 12.
