Jesus is nailed to the cross.
We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you;
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Reflection
Scripture:
�When they came to the place called the
Skull, they crucified Jesus and the
criminals there, one on his right, and
the other on his left. Then Jesus said,
�Father, forgive them, for they know
not what they do.� Pilate also had an
inscription written and put on the
cross. It read, �Jesus the Nazorean, the
King of the Jews.�

A Prayer
�My God, I look at you and think:
is my soul worth this much?
What can I give you in return?
I here and now accept
for all my life
whatever sickness, torment, agony may come.
To every cross I touch my lips.
O blessed cross that lets me be �
with you �
a co-redeemer of humanity.� |
