6:00 pm Friday - 11:00 am Sunday
Presented by Katie Levis, Diane Garrity and Sally Laux
As we welcome the changes that Spring brings to our lives, come join us in exploring the Spiritual Gifts that God has made available to each of us. This weekend is an invitation to share our triumphs and our struggles. We can open our hearts to cultivate and experience the “Courage to Change”.
Through talks, group discussions, prayer, meditation, healing service and AA fellowship, we leave the weekend with a renewed spirit and commitment to sharing our experience, strength and hope.
Friday 6:00 pm - Sunday 11:00 am
Facilitated by Francis X. Cook
A Recovery Retreat at Jesuit Retreat House is a time to nurture your serenity, experience a re-awakening, and find the strength to work the steps of recovery. There will be daily conferences, time for prayer and reflection, a healing service, and Mass.
Francis X. Cook has been a friend of Bill W for 11 years. He considers his membership in Alcoholics Anonymous to be his greatest asset in fulfilling God's call to him which began at a very early age, and which encompassed his being called to be a Catholic priest, an inner city pastor, a husband and father of four children, an attorney, a prosecutor, a counselor, and an educator. Although still working full time as a prosecutor and probate attorney in his mid seventies, Frank finds his greatest fulfillment in living and sharing the twelve steps of AA and in keeping in close spiritual contact with sponsees and others in the AA Fellowship and with the seminarians and priests who have been an important part of his life for the past 62 years.
