A WORD THE DIRECTOR
The joyous living of our lives in Christ compels us to be
community for one another, inviting others to share in
the “Joy of the Gospel.” Check out Fr. Joe Tetlow’s
reflections on page 2 of this newsletter and witness our
joint acting on this word as we prepare for a new
program year. Here is an update:
Praying with St. Ignatius Retreat. We will be taking this
retreat-in-daily-life to four groups this coming program year.
In the fall, we will be at Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Euclid
and Blessed Trinity Parish, Cleveland. In the spring, we will
serve the people of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church,
Cleveland Heights and also St. Barnabas Parish, Northfield.
Retreat teams are presently being formed. Margaret
Balewski, Joan Carney, Kathy Haag and Jean Sullivan
continue their work of updating our program materials as we
prepare for our fall retreats.
Nurturing the Call. Martha Campbell and Janet Lehane will
once again team up to offer a learning process to the
Leaders/Facilitators of the Praying with St. Ignatius and the
St Ignatius & Walsh Jesuit Spirituality Program for Adults.

September 30th.
Food for the Journey. Spiritual directors, retreat leaders,
pastoral ministers and those who have made the full Spiritual
Exercises of Ignatius Loyola will gather this fall to reflect on
the process of conversion as seen in the life of a
contemporary spiritual leader, Karen Armstrong. Details on
page 2. Registration deadline: September 12th.
