Lenten Literary Evening: Poems of Lent & Easter

Wednesday, March 27, 6:30 to 9:00, P.M. You don't have to have been a poetry lover to love these poems on Lent and Easter themes. This gathering is a mini-retreat of prayer and reflection, using poems of great beauty and depth that are still accessible to anyone wishing to spend time going within. The process will include prayer, lectio divina with the poems, and chance to go home with a packet of poetic "gems" to carry with you through Lent inspiring more reflection at home. You will discover, as one past participant has, that praying with poetry is "spiritually exhilarating!" Kim Langley is the facilitator. Kim is a certified Pastoral Minister with the Diocese of Cleveland and holds a Master's Degree in Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Before founding LifeBalance Enterprises, Kim supervised 80 people and strived to maintain her own work-life balance. She is married to a high school teacher who has a wonderful sense of humor, and they have raised two great kids—a son and a daughter. Cost: $15.
