Description: October 26 Marriages of Grace Afternoon Retreat 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost:$40/couple Enjoy time away with your spouse on the beautiful 57 acre campus of Jesuit Retreat House for an afternoon mini retreat lead by Marriages of Grace. In the course of this afternoon retreat you will gather with other married couples for presentations, questions and answers. These sessions will open the door for each couple to delve further through personal reflection and in the privacy of their own lives. Cost is $40/couple. Light refreshments will be provided. Please note: Mass is not a part of this mini-retreat experience. Octobers topics will include Raising Children Catholic and Leadership in the Home. Raising Children Catholic: The Catholic parent's most important duty is to raise Catholic children -- children who understand the importance of their faith, practice it, and will pass it down in turn to their own children. It is no secret that the best way to pass on your Faith to your children is to know and live it well yourself. Come and listen to the personal experience of a couple raising 9 children who will help you understand and embrace your Catholic Faith and give you tips on how to pass this Faith along to your own children. Tanis and Bill Merimee have been married for 22 years and are the founders of Marriages of Grace. They also speak at Pre-Cana programs here at the Jesuit Retreat House and are certified as a Prepare and Enrich Couple through the diocese of Cleveland. Leadership in the Home: Through one man's journey to become the leader in his home, discover how God can lead you, as a couple, to a stronger marriage. Listen to Mark Pierce, business coach and mentor, and his wife of 35 years, Linda, as they share principles they have applied to their marriage. They have worked in Pre-Cana programs and are certified as a Prepare and Enrich Couple through the diocese of Cleveland. Marriages of Grace is an independent, couples-based ministry that provides enriching programs for Catholic marriages. Their mission is to present inspiring talks designed to help married couples understand relevant topics and build marriages with the grace of God. They host programs throughout the Diocese of Cleveland.
