Spring Scripture Study: Up to Jerusalem, Journey with Jesus in Luke’s Gospel

April 8, 15, 22 & 29, 2013. 6:30PM – 8:00PM Spring Scripture Study: Up to Jerusalem: Journey with Jesus in Luke’s Gospel. This four week session will explore selected elements of the Gospel of Luke with attention to certain readings from the current Sunday lectionary. (We are in the cycle which presents Luke’s gospel for the year.) Sessions are designed to be open and accessible to those with varying levels of familiarity with the text. Various interpretive techniques will be used. The text will also be examined to discern what implications it may hold for contemporary Christian discipleship. Megan Wilson-Reitz is a lecturer in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at John Carroll University.
